Job requirements
OneHopeforTomorrow.org is seeking a part-time unpaid intern who has an interest in audio and video production and multimedia. Must possess a general understanding of the video, and production process, video-editing software, Final Cut a plus, Photoshop, Adobe, etc. Can handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
Record, edit, and produce marketing and other types of videos.
Be creative and able to translate ideas and concepts into an effective audio or visual form.
Set up audio and video equipment
Coordinate pre-production and post-production activities.
Maintain and create social media videos
Assist with implementing, monitoring and optimizing marketing video campaigns
Position Requirements:
Needs to be registered at a university, college, community college or vocational-technical institute on a full-time basis. Priority will be given to students of junior/senior status, or in the last year of a community college or vocational-technical program.
Preference with be given to applicants who own a Macintosh computer, and are proficient with some or all of the editing programs: Garageband, iMovie, Screenflow, final cut, and Photoshop.

- Prefer someone working towards a degree in marketing or journalism.
- Organized, able to meet deadlines and be a self-starter. Proven ability to be precise and accurate.
- Good writing, production and conversational skills to transmit information clearly and efficiently.
- The internship will cover a semester period of approximately twenty (10 - 15) hours per week, with a schedule to be arranged by the intern, the intern coordinator and the intern's academic advisor.
- Work effectively in a team environment.
- Maintain a positive and cooperative rapport with staff, management, and clients.
- Project an appropriate professional demeanor.
- Persons participating in the OneHopeForTomorrow.org internship needs to understand that no guarantees are given for future employment. OneHopeForTomorrow.org may terminate internship at any time.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- A completed internship application form.
- Please specify the semester you are interested in interning.
- A letter from the applicant's university or college verifying arrangement of credit for the internship
THE APPLICANT MUST SUBMIT:
- Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively.
- Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction with good eye and hand coordination.
- Lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds on occasion.
